First exposed to pottery when his son, Casey, and now daughter-in-law, Jenny were  in high school; Leonard's first reaction to throwing pots was: "How could this be relaxing and fun?"

Then, 15+ years later, during a trip to Annapolis, Maryland, a new idea was conceived. After visiting several pottery studios along the way Leonard wondered "Is 60 too old to learn to thrown pots?"

With hands on instructions from Casey and Jenny, lots of tips and encouragement from seasoned potters and God's gift of the ability to do most anything with his hands--Leonard was throwing pots!  He love's working with clay and experiences a true joy each time he sits down at the wheel.
